Faders takeover modes ?
On the new Fantom, is there any takeover modes for the faders ? I mean to avoid a brutal change when the position of the fader is not corresponding to the position of the leds. For example, in Ableton Live, regarding the faders (and knobs) of an external midi controller, there are three takeover mod...

Question about the sequencer of the new Fantom
If I record a simple pattern, says I play a melody for a few measures but I do not touch any effect while I play since I use my two hands... Can I after that, "overdub" the effects (eg: knobs movements) ?

Re: Why no drum sounds on JD-XA??
I bought a JD-Xi because it have a drum track. If the JD-Xa had a real distinct drum track like the JD-Xi, I would have bought it instead. The "Real Analog Drums" sounds from Axial was not a solution for me. It would be great if Roland fix this problem for their next version of the product.

Re: 5 stupid questions :P
5. Can effects (specifically delay and reverb) be set individually for each of the four tracks i.e. digital 1, digital 2, drum, analog? YES: You can control the delay and reverb send amount for each drum part (per key) as well as each synth part independently. For example, if you want to tweak the ...

NOT A BUG!
Sorry. It is NOT a bug, and yes you can use de delay on a specific drum note, without "wasting" your Effect 2. Here is the explanation: You can control the delay and reverb send amount for each drum part (per key) as well as each synth part independently. For Drums: 1. Press Part select [D...

Re: BUG ? No delay on Drum part
Since nobody answered, I had to confirm this by myself. I went to the music store today and tried to reproduce the bug on a JD-Xi unit in the store. Result: same problem. This confirm that IT IS A BUG. And a really important one. YOU CANNOT USE THE DELAY ON YOUR SNARE. YOU CANNOT USE THE DELAY ON YO...

BUG ? No delay on Drum part
How many of you have this problem ? Current part is Drums, hit a note (say the snare for example), turn on the delay (delay red led is on, and delay knob is turned right). Be sure that on the snare, “Effect 1,” and “Effect 2,” are OFF, and only “Delay,” and “Reverb” are ON. Result: I do not hear any...

Re: BUG? hold down the [Erase] button to erase the selected
To erase the Drum, here is the trick:
While you press erase (during playback and with drum part selected), play two notes on the keyboard: all the drums instruments between those 2 notes will be erased, including the 2.

BUG? hold down the [Erase] button to erase the selected part
It is a bug or what ? The manual state on page 11: "Erasing a Portion of a Phrase or Drum Pattern During playback/recording, you can hold down the [Erase] button to erase the selected part (in the case of the Drums part, the instrument of the key you pressed most recently) for the duration that...
