Re: Import patterns+kits from TR-6S to TR-8S?
One very handy thing about looking at your Back Ups on the computer, is the Back Up Text File. In the BACKUP folder every Back Up includes a text file which lists detailed information regarding all the Patterns and Kits in that Back Up. [/quote] Good idea F., thanks! I will post if I make progress...

Re: TB-303 sounds for MC-101 MC-707
I just sold my TB-03 because I love the sound but hate the 303 interface and sequencer... This is a good replacement! Added to cart.

Import patterns+kits from TR-6S to TR-8S?
It would be great to bring over work from the 6S to the 8S... Just wondering if anyone has come up with a hack to do this, or if it is confirmed to be not possible. From what I understand it's the same engine, with fewer tracks and a cut-down interface. Just changing the file extensions from .t6p/.t...

Re: No Sound after updating to fw 1.72
One thing that messed me up after updating was track audio inserts. They don't just insert (add) a different source, they bypass the original source. If those are set it will mute the original track.

Just to add 2 yrs later - Went round and round on this issue today, turned out the first 2 usb cables i tried were bad. The microusb cables always seem to be the crappiest of all cables...

Re: Roland Boutique bag doesn't fit?
Roland support was very helpful about it
the situation seems to be that the silver one fits a boutique without a dock and the black one fits the dock too.

Roland Boutique bag doesn't fit?
Got the silver Roland "boutique bag" for my TB-03 and.... it doesn't fit. The bag is too small.
Is it just me or did Roland make an instrument case that doesn't even fit the f---ing instrument? How lame is that?

Re: Learning to program the TR-08
I understand the basics, maybe I am overthinking it. But there are things like the pre-scale that I don't think I am using to full benefit. I found a really nice 808 tutorial and java web app - http://io808.com/ . I must have shopped for it at the exact right moment, I didn't pre-order, just went to...

Learning to program the TR-08
Up until now all the drum programming I've done has been on a piano roll or in plugins. I got the TR-08 because it seemed like a great way to learn and use a more "classic" method to make a beat. The giant foldout instruction sheet I guess works fine for someone already familiar with the 8...
