Re: Rearranging Songs In Alphabetical Order

Hello, In Onsong i make the right order of the songs. For each song I made pdf document with the chords of that song (even though I don't need them always). You can easily assign a MSB and LSB to it. In the set list function on Onsong I make the right order for my gigs. When browsing/swiping through...

Re: Rearranging Songs In Alphabetical Order

I don’t know if it is of help to you. But I connected the FA with my iPad and are using OnSong to rearrange the songs in a set list featuring within OnSong. Works great very easy for live gigs.

Saving sample bank position with performance

Hello, Is it possible to save a Sample bank position with a certain performance? E.g. Performance 1 has Sample Bank A en Perfomance 2 has sample Bank C? Otherwise during live performance you must not forget to select the correct sample bank mode with the performance (At least with my FA-08 the sampl...

Effects must not remain in studio sets

When I turn the sound modify knobs, the settings remain if I go to a different studio set. So for example if I turn the effect knob in "studio set 1" to a phaser effect, this remains when I go to "studio set 2". But I don't want that. Especially during life performances. If you a...

Re: Sustain pedal in combination with FA and A-PRO

I struggeld to have one sustain pedal working with my Roland FA-08 and the Nord lead stage 2. On this forum I found a good solution. By means of a € 0,75 Jack splitter and a stereo Jack cable (mono cable created a noise with my setup), I was able to fix it very easy. https://www.allekabels.nl/jack-k...

Re: Noise on line-in

Thanks for the feedback! Even If I don't play, I hear the sound. It's more a "Earth hum". If I turn the volume down of the Nord, this hum is still be heard. Also when connecting mono. Cables are checked by the way. And if I connect the Nord directly to the mixer, then there is no problem. ...

Noise on line-in

Hello, I've used the line-in of my FA-08 to connect my Nordlead "sound wise" with my Roland. In this case I need only 1 stereo line out for both synths. Since a couple of weeks there is a annoying noise/distortion on this line-in (i've checked my Nord and that was fine). Does anybody has t...

Re: One sustain pedal with two synths

Hi Rodi, Thanks for your reaction. See my answer on Andy's reply. With a € 0,75 splitter it works as well! Regards, Ton It is no problem to pass any controler of the FA to an external instrument. However the FA is always assigning the MIDI channel of the currently active part. I have attached an XP-...

Re: One sustain pedal with two synths

Thanks Andy, I bought a splitter (€ 0,75). Inserted this in the FA and with a jack cable connected this splitter (in my case) in my Nord. It works!!!! Regards, Ton Have a look at this thread . Rusty managed to get one pedal to sustain 2 synths using a splitter. I've got one at home, but I've still n...

One sustain pedal with two synths

Hi, I have the Roland FA-08 connected with my Nord lead Stage EX (Roland Midi channel 1 en Nord is set on midi channel 14). In my previous setup with Yamaha Mox8 I could use one sustain pedal (which I´ve inserted in the Nord), for the two synths. Now it is not possible any more. When I insert the pe...

Re: Effects in a studio set

Thanks RoDi, this helps.

Any idea how to switch on/off this IFX effect via S1 or S2 buttons on the left side of the board?
I can do this for the TFX effect, but not for the IFX effect.

Thanks,

Ton

Effects in a studio set

Hi,

I have created a studio set with three parts/tones.
I want to have tones 1 and 2 with a main studio effect (e.g. flanger) and the third sound to have this main effect bypassed or off.
Is this possible?

Thanks,

Ton

Re: Keyboard range FA-08 with external midi controller

Thanks, I think I can split my Nord Stage.
But it is a pity, because with my Yamaha Mox8 I didn’t had this issue.
I could freely make the splittings in my workstation.

Anyway thanks a lot for your help!

Regards,

Ton
