Re: JU-06a adding polyphony
This may sound stupid but I'll risk it. If I bought a second JU-06a and daisy chained it with the other one, logic says I should get 8 voice polyphony. BUT.... is it going to play all 8 notes or just double sound of the first 8 notes? I would have to have some way to tell JU #1 to play the first 4 ...

Re: JU-06A arpeggiator sync
Hello all, ... it plays a double note on the first note of the sequence and isn't quite in sync with the tempo as I'd like it to be. Repeated attempts are more successful, but is there a more foolproof way of doing this? I'm not 100% certain (and not near my Boutiques to be able to check) but I bel...

Re: Need help connecting tb-03 to DAW software via midi usb
I can't be sure about what's causing your issues, and I don't have Reaper running with my Boutiques, but it sounds like you might have a clocking issue; try to check and make sure that your Reaper session is running at the same clock rate as the TB-03; I believe all the Boutiques run at ONLY 44.1k, ...

Re: How to synthesize this bass sound on SE-02?
Just picked up the SE-02, it's my first synth so I'm still learning how to synthesize sounds I'm looking for. Does anyone know how to get this sound on the Roland SE-02? The bass comes in at :019 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETEg-SB01QY OR this sound? Bass comes in at 0:12 https://youtu.be/N5-eq...

Re: Using the MC 101 as a standard 4 track
Hello, I just purchased an MC101 and I wanted to be able use it as a standard 4 track. My plan was to run a non powered condenser mic through and record guitar and vocals. The condenser mic has an XLR cable. Is it possible to run through a series of adapters (phantom powered) and run this through t...

Re: JV Expansion card - no sound - waveform names unreadable
One of my JV expansion boards is displaying the dreaded unreadable “cryptic” characters when trying to dial in a sound within its ROM bank It is installed in a XV-5080 and my other cards work. The XV recognizes the card is installed as the Orchestral JV board I have tried cleaning it with contact c...

Re: mc-707 no sound?
I have the MC-707 running through the usb 2 input of the MX-1 input. It was working fine until I downloaded 1.50. The same cable was tested with the JD-Xi on the same input and works fine. The headphone jack doesn't produce a signal nor does the mix out. All the lights, functions and even the seq w...

Re: mc-707 no sound?
Let's try to help you troubleshoot: You say you're hearing no sound; has a project loaded correctly? When you hit play do you see tracks playing (in the "percent" indicators/bar graphs below the tracks). In every respect other than sound, is the unit responding to the front panel controls ...

Re: Roland JP-08 MIDI is'nt working
I'm connecting MIDI OUT(each time from a different Synth's for test - Minilogue XD, Korg Krome and MIDI Keys - CME UF6) to MIDI IN in Roland JP 08 - no sound. Thnks So I think the first part of your test should be just to make sure that a simple setup where a master keyboard controls the JP-08 is w...

That is a great discovery, and thanks for sharing the info. I'm not an EE, but I do know from servicing some of my older rack gear, that there are safety regulations and regional requirements for PS design which mean that manufactures had to alter PS layout from region to region. It's possible that ...

Re: Scenes - not playing full lenght clip
Enjoying the MC101 to the fullest!! What I don’t understand: Why, when I change scenes, doesn’t it change at the end of the (longest) clip. It changes at the end of the measure where you are at when you change scene. I have to wait untill the last measure to change the scene. This is definitly not ...

If yes, how does one mark a question targeted at Roland? If not, what is the process of asking questions from Roland? Thank you for your reply... I don't believe Roland officially participate in this forum, though I could be wrong. I have heard that they do monitor feature requests on their own Fac...
