Re: HELP! How you change from synth to drum machine, or reve
hI! Thanks for replying. What cursor you mean?? I want this to come across as politely as possible, because I mean no offense: please read your manual. While Roland often does not have in-depth information that we would all appreciate in their manuals, this kind of very basic question is certainly ...

Re: JU-06A isn't visible on my MacBook
Hey evilpants, I saw that you had not replied to your question since the last few bits of help or advice, so I thought I would check out my JU-06A and chime in; here's what I can tell you. I have a 2019 MacBook Pro running 10.14.6 Mojave. I installed the specified driver from the Roland website. (I ...

Re: Let the Games begin...
My MC-707 just arrived yesterday - I am loving it and the fun factor is very, very high. In typical Roland fashion though, I find the manual and even Reference Guide to be sadly lacking in basic info; perhaps some of you folks could help, or point me in the direction of more detailed official info. ...

Re: New Boutique - JU-06A
Does anybody know why Ext. Clk In doesn't not trigger Arppegiator like SH-01A ? It only triggers SEQUENCER Hope they add this feature via firmware update in the future. This does seem odd; hopefully as you suggest, they will fix this in a firmware update, as it would be very useful to be able to sy...

Re: New Boutique - JU-06A
Just out of curiosity, did they fix the voice stealing with this new one? I don't think that was a big issue, but it would be nice if they fixed it anyway. How would you define the fix? I make a lot of sounds with long release envelopes and they do, of course, get eaten as new chords are played, bu...

Re: New Boutique - JU-06A
Forgive me if this has already been posted elsewhere - I haven't been browsing the posts quite as much recently as I am swamped with work, but I'm excited to report that the JU-06A Arpeggiator and Sequencer both send MIDI notes out the DIN jack and you can run the Arpeggiator on top of the sequencer...

Re: New Boutique - JU-06A
I'm going to buck the current trend on the internet by not complaining:
I like this new JU-06A Boutique, missed the -06 last time and have had great fun making music with my other Boutiques! Yay!
Make music, have fun and be kind.

Re: JP-08: Who needs wood?
That looks great! Perhaps a tiny angle on the part over the keys, to honor the angle on the original JP-8 sides? In any case, what fun!

Re: So is that it with the Boutique line?
Only the D-05 has made use of the DCB architecture. Perhaps they haven't sold enough of these to justify further DCB development. That's a good point; it seems unlikely that Roland would go to the effort of developing DCB and then drop it after only a single product. While they (of course) could sh...

Re: So is that it with the Boutique line?
Roland haven't had any new Boutique synth released for over 2 years now. Do we have to assume they've moved on? Anyone heard anything? I haven't seen or heard anything about new Boutiques (as much as I would love to see what they come up with next), but I don't think the line is finished yet; there...

Re: using patchcables harmful, yes or no?
Hello everyone. I've got a JX-03 and TR-08. As i've got enough nice shielded mono eurorack 3,5mm patch cables, I'd like to use those for connecting my audio setup with my boutiques. Of course, only the "left" channel" is working like that, but that's all fine as I'm working only mono...

Re: TR-08 with Keyboard K-25m
OK - today i got my TR-08 and i made a test, connected it to a K-25m, It is true, that some of the sounds can be played, but unfortunately not all - the congas and toms etc.. are outside of the K-25m keyrange , because they spreaded everything across more than the 2 octaves. hm - it seems, that the...

Re: TR-08 with Keyboard K-25m
Does anybody know if the TR-08 is compatible with the K-25m Keyboard - is there a connector just like on the boutique-synthesizers ? And if yes, can the drumsounds be played from the keyboard, maybe even velocity-sensitive? I could not find any information about that - thank you ! The answer is YES...
