Integra 7 integration is a super cool idea but somehow I doubt that'll happen.

Looking at the manual, it looks like you would need to use the mod matrix to accomplish this. The wheels can only be mapped to CC's, pitch, and aftertouch.

It looks like it's basically the step editor that's on the FA. It looks like a piano roll but doesn't really have full piano roll features. It would be killer to have a proper piano roll on that touchscreen.

Multisampling is supposedly coming in a future software update. Hopefully they will add audio recording and more features to the sequencer.

Juno DS and FA both got very significant 2.0 OS upgrades. The Juno added multisampling. I would be surprised if that's not in the plans for the new Fantom. Interesting. I've seen it cut off in a video or two. I read the manual and it did say that there are certain situations where the patch remain may not work.

A module version would be really cool. The Integra 7 seems to have been fairly popular so there's definitely some demand for a product like that.

I would love to have an 88 key controller with a rack mount Fantom off-stage. That Fantom 8 is big and heavy.

I heard in one video that it takes about 40 seconds to boot up.

I hope they expand the sequencer to more MIDI tracks. I can take or leave audio recording. It did come later as a software update to previous Fantoms though so we could possible see it in the future.

Real sampling, at least the level which would make most people happy, would massively increase the cost of the board. You'd need SSD and it's controller, all the editing software and a way to import/backup the hard drive. All for what, so you can load a piano or some ancient Akai sample? Making thi...
