I compared these two instruments and bought the RD2000. I liked the sound of the Yamaha and thought that the keybed was slightly lighter but slightly more responsive. Overall, I thought the Roland had more features/functionality, better build quality, and the sounds were really difficulty to compare...

I don’t understand why an over $2000 keyboard does not allow me to change this once in the system menu and be done with it. Yes, I have added them to the slots on my RD2000 and they are nice additions. I think you are on the right track but are probably using the wrong USB port. I don’t know why but you don’t use the update port that has the protective port plug, you use the regular USB port that would normally be used f...
