That's simple to do. Put both machines on the same MIDI channel or leave on the default channel 1. MIDI out from one to MIDI IN on the other. Have fun. Omg....duh. Yeah, that is easy. You mean that you want to use the lower part of the S8 for S8 and upper part as controller for the JD-Xi? I think it is possible, but I have to check this when I am at home. No I was thinking using the WHOLE S8 keyboard and just "doubling up" on the tones. Or vice versa actually, maybe us...

Ok found out I had a weird midi loop or something, had nothing to do with the S-8. Only with the fact that it only happened when the S-8 was sending 2 midi channels per note (which it does in performance mode) Could you walk me through how to do this exact setup? I just recently picked up a System ...
