Uploaded the Roland KR-4500 Service Notes to the wonderful and free Elektrotanya collection, since the russian site mentioned previously was blocked in my country (likely in other countries, too).

I found out that in my case the D/A-unit fails. The mainboard gives me the left channel and suppresses the right one. Also listening carefully I hear that anti-aliasing is not working well. Few questions...
- Regarding the noise, is it more like static crackling or pure unmodulated white noise?
- You write the volume's changing randomly, but could you identify some kind of scheme?
- Is there any real D-50 sound or is it just noise?

I wonder if you ever resolved your problem. I'm asking because I have an HP-330 here with the exact symptom. No sound on the right speaker, nor on the right headphone channel or the right Output on the rear. This applies to all Piano sounds. However, if I feed a signal into the Left and Right Input ...
