Ah, nevermind. I had to go into Windows Update and search for *optional* updates. The Roland Media Driver appeared there (along with a few other things) and now I'm fine. Thank you Genji. Good to hear you've got it to work. Yeah, I was going to suggest that your problems were probably due to the folders/files being in the wrong place. I.e. the IMPORT and Roland folders from the zip file need to be in the root of the SD card, otherwise the FA doesn't know where to find them.

Although the video doesn't appear to be available anymore, I remember viewing it when it was. My FA-06 is younger than that and it has always made that noise. I had just assumed (without taking it apart) that it was a sticky rubber noise of the key contacts.
