Re: Juno-G screen
Unfortunately, I think that your chances are not so good... it all depends on what Roland decides to do. I presume you live in the U.S., and I don't know what the law says over there about warranty, in Europe you would have the same support of the original owner providing that you have the original ...

Re: I still love my Juno-G!
I still haven't reached a point where I gel my Juno-G yet. I never could grasp programming it (it was my first programmable synthesizer). However, that was years ago (I've had mine since '08) and I got into analogue synthesis over the past couple years which I grasped pretty well. Maybe if I return...

I still love my Juno-G!
More than 5 years have passed since I bought my Juno-G, and I just want to say how much I still love it. During these years, I've had the chance to use all of its advanced features that you usually find only in high-end instruments. The powerful 16 voice performance mode allowed me unbelievalbly com...

Re: is juno Gi better than Yamaha PSR S910 ?????
They are different instruments with different purposes. The psr-s910 is an arranger, the Gi is a synthesizer, so which is better depends on what you want to do with it. Specifications are not important in this case, first you have to decide which *features* you're looking for.

Re: Serial No's and LCD issues.
Just bought mine second hand a few weeks ago, not sure exactly how old it is but I worked out from the serial number ZV909026 it is late 2006 I think. Made in China, no sticker on top. I haven't had any major problems with the screen but it is very poor quality. The only strange thing about it so f...

Re: Juno G and decent piano sounds
You can load the Fantom-X piano, see this video for more info: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ir_wxu-Cp4k You have to download the samples and install them. I never did it (I don't use the Juno-G for piano sounds), but the instructions and the URL where you can download the samples should be in the ...

Re: Juno G 1 Step Down
Does it go back to normal if you change patch? If the answer is yes, this is a well known issue. You can "solve" it by reprogramming the first pacth (User 001, which is usually the piano) to ignore the modulation lever, or you can just change patch when it happens. As long as it does not h...

So, not all PSB-1U are born equal! :-)marczellm wrote:I have the sticker "Juno-G (J)". Model number PSB-1U. Green light right next to the Juno G sticker.
The only thing to do is to check the model. But since the Mr. Yacto is not posting anymore, he probably solved his problem somehow.

Re: Juno G DOA
Is it possible that the shop gave you the wrong adapter? The original Juno-G adapter should have a sticker with the Roland brand and the model name, which should be PSB-1U. Mine also has a second sticker which explicitly says "Juno-G(J)". It looks a bit like a notebook adapter. If it is no...

Good job! :-) And yes, the guitar sound is very good (though to be more realistic it should have the sound of fingers sliding on the strings...).

Re: My 2nd LCD ... and broken again..
the bad thing is that if you need some of the juno-g advanced features (like sampling or 16 part performances) there is no alternative in the 1000 EUR zone. There isn't a synth that can do all the things the J-G can do, and it's a pity that Roland did not make a worthy J-G replacement. The Yamaha MO...
