Yes, you are correct and I did finally stumble across an explanation of how to do this in the middle of an hour long YouTube video. I merely wanted to be able to access the sounds, not edit them per se.
Thank you for your response!

Re: Journey - "Separate Ways" tone
Hey, my band covers a lot of Journey and I just use #273 JP8 Brass. May not be exact but with the full band it sounds pretty good. I used to have the JUNO DS that you could tweak a bit to get more sustain but nobody but me ever noticed the difference.

Re: RD-88...so HOW do you actually edit sounds (not Scenes!)
Hi there, I'm late to the party but new to the RD-88. I traded in my JUNO DS 61 and my AX-Edge Keytar because I wanted to settle down and get SERIOUS about gigging with a real keyboard for a while. So if I'm understanding this right, the Sound List manual, pages 1 - 5, lists everything you can acces...

Re: Looking for simple sounds on ax edge
As has been said, you have to make them. I recommend using the editor with an iPad because I find the front panel menus too confusing. The editor is tricky too but you can manage. The Ax Edge comes with something like 300 programs but there are almost a thousand tones inside that you can use to fine...

Re: Sending Patch/Performance changes DS61
I have sadly had to give up trying to understand the ancient midi texts (due to time limitations and a lack of teaching resources). Buuuut, I have found success running Camelot on my iPad and linking via USB. I have maybe 20 performances made to order (with various splits, layers, etc) loaded into t...

603 Lord Organ
Hi I just hopped over from the JUNO-DS forum, having just purchased a used AX-EDGE from a friend who never used it. I'm using it all the time! So I have about ten songs per night that use organ. I have settled on Rotary Organ 2 as the best overall patch, but for a couple songs I want to add a little...

Re: Frankensynth
Oh That's Cool! And I agree Sir Edward would approve. I went and looked at an Ax-Edge my buddy is selling (got the cash in my pocket and just waiting for him to message me back to close the deal). I was thinking about possible customizations for the strip (only comes with red and silver). That's a c...

Vendor App support for JUNO-DS
Hey all, If anyone else is in a situation like I am, gigging a lot and want to use Camelot to change your patches throughout the setlist, using your iPad, you can do that now. For some reason, hooking up to my JUNO would shut everything down, but they found and fixed the bug. [img] 20230305_091847.j...

Re: New Member asks Aint That Tuff Enuff?
Thanks @Vespina, still not having success with using the midi messages and have been saving patches with either step phaser or step flanger turned on. That gets me close-ish to the sound I want. I've tried using Band Helper to send midi messages and also purchased Camelot, but I can't get either to ...

Re: Red Juno DS !! - Ever seen one of these? I painted my DS
Well done sir! I've gone and worked under the hood with every electric guitar I've ever owned. Learned a lot along the way, but not willing to start something like this because of the sensitive electronics. Guitars are just dumb pickup coils and potentiometers. Very basic stuff. How is it holding up...

Re: MIDI Patch changes on DS with Setlist Maker
Steve you are farther along than I am with SLM and midi messages. If you can explain how you are transmitting the mode changes and patch changes I can duplicate the process and see what I get. I went through the midi implementation manual and kept getting unpredictable and unrepeatable results. Righ...

Thank You, I just uploaded a question on this exact topic, and it hasn't even been approved by the moderators yet. I just looked in to see if it had been, and here is the answer to my question. I tried a few searches first, but I didn't think of EXP. Thanks I will try this later. This gets around th...

Expansion Packs
My JUNO-DS came with a thumb drive with 10 expansion packs, that must be loaded one at a time into memory. I've been reviewing the Tone Manager Manual and haven't found where it explicitly states that I can use the Tone Manager to select my favorites from among them and create my own expansion pack ...
