I use the Fantom-07 in combination with a rather old version of Cubase. No need to upgrade, it does all I want. But selecting tones in that old version is a pain. Quantize needs WAY more options. 1/64, 1/8. 1/32. SHUFFLE is far too limited and virtually useless this way.

What you created is called a SCENE, with a PATTERN attached. And maybe you even made a SONG. Whatever the contents: it's a SCENE.
Now press WRITE
Select SCENE
Careful! Select the DESTINATION (otherwise you'd overwrite the scene you started in)
Select OK

Done.

After watching tons of videos, nobody seems to bother to explain how to do this: I want to play an electric guitar part and record it as a sample, and use that sample in a pattern, later to be turned into a group, and then into a song.
