I had the same issue and fear - my board 1 updated but it wouldn't recognise the USB stick on board 2. It was because I was using a microSD card in an adaptor thing which I always use as it's small, but that must act like a hub and board 2 didn't like it (?). Hi, the FA uses the PSB-1U and it's used on many Roland models which don't take a lot of power (e.g. the pianos with built-in speakers). It's the same one used on the Octapad and I think my old 300nx was the same one too. It also works on my Brother P-Touch so I saved buying one for that :) :) :) Ye...

Possibly a dry solder joint on the sockets? Does it come and go if you wiggle the plug in the socket gently?

Similarly could be a broken jack cable, I presume you've tried different ones though?

Hi, I was annoyed by this too until I found out you can just create a custom drum kit - go to a kit you like, go to Tone Edit (I think from memory), press the note you want and use the drop-down menu to select the sound for that key. This also means you can have the same sound on multiple keys, e.g....

Hehe, I hadn't noticed Cello was in Glasgow (hello!) - I had to find something to use in Legally Blonde in one of the songs, but it didn't have to be *too* accuarate as it wasn't completely solo.

The closest I got a while back was actually using a modifdied oboe from either the world or orchestra EXPs.

Not at the moment, I agree it's annoying!

If you put in a tech support request to Roland asking the question they'll log it. I got a "that sounds like a good idea" reply...

They are matt so don't reflect e.g. music stand lights and a much better contrast to read. Also cover the scratches!

I would love to see the ability to use to pad modes simultaneously the 2.0 update lets you use the buttons as pads but it would be nice to have the sample pads be used for samples and the buttons be used for switch groups There's a workaround to kind of make this work as long as you're not looking ...

I got mine this morning, they look great! They say it will be another month or so though until they get more into the UK, so hang fire a bit.
