turn off the option to load in to the instrument bank, and just load instruments into the library.

Is it possible to load more than 16 Instruments?

Is it possible to load more than 16 Instruments?

In the past I worked on an mpc4000, I would load hundreds of programs into RAM.
I am trying to achieve this on the mv8000, but I cannot seem to load more that 16 patches into memory.


any suggestion on where to look in the manual for this information?

mid data travels over usb cable.

also, samples are loaded over usb cable.


there are midi I/O on the back , and you could choose to use them if you wish.

it runs fine in tandem with my DAW(ableton) on my intel mac.

i don't see the point of making it a vst.


i would love to see some new synths to load into my variOS though

actually you could record audio onto any track in Logic, then drag and drop to exs24

all featurs accessable from front panel button.
