MC-707 and Jupiter 6
Having an issue with my Jupiter 6 and not sure if its MC-707 related or not. The Jupiter 6 is bi-timbral but starts in OMNI mode which is annoying. If you start it up with a midi cable between the in and out ports and press a few keys it sends itself a message to turn OMNI mode off and Poly mode on,...

Re: Only 256 user tone memories?
Found another similar annoying limitation today, I bought 3 of the wave expansion packs from Roland Cloud. After installing 2 of them the machine said wave expansion memory full. Would have been nice to know that prior to purchase! The other thing that makes these limitations hard to work with is th...

Only 256 user tone memories?
I just bought some model expansion specific sounds and some Zen Core sounds from the Roland Cloud. It seems that they can only import into the user memory, if that correct? It also seems like the user memory can only hold 256 user tones in total. The screen says "U-0256" on the last patch ...

TR-8 7x7 kit restore
I have a TR-8 and own the 7x7 expansion. When the expansion installed initially it had the various expanded kits. I think over time I’ve saved over them. I can still see the 7x7 instruments in there and guess I could recreate the kits manually and save them but was hoping there was a way to restore ...

Roland MV-8800 issues (just purchased)
Just bought my first MV-8800, but it has some issues I’m hoping you guys can assist with. 1) when booting up I get this error message “Disk error occurred press F5 to create a new project” The hard drive seems to work fine once it has loaded in that you can copy things to it from the CD-ROM Drive et...

MC-909 Mixer fader always goes to 126?
When I bought my MC-909 I noticed that the channel 7/15 slider on the mixer seemed to randomly set itself to 126 (at least every few minutes) which is annoying as the value gets recorded. I always assumed a dirty fader would be the cause (the machine is very clean but was second hand). I cleaned it ...

Re: MC-909 Editor
A factory restore didn't help, tried a brand new mac that had never had the editor (or any software) on it before... I can't imagine what might be causing the issue.

Re: MC-909 Editor
No ideas on what I might be doing wrong? It is frustrating not being able to use the editor. I'm thinking of doing a factory reset, but hoping I don't have to.

MC-909 Editor
My MC-909 won't connect for some reason. Tried multiple computers (mac & windows), multiple midi interfaces, soft through off, remote keyboard switch off. I have selected the correct midi ports, and the default device ID (matches MC-909 - 17). I can see that on the MC-909 when I move a mixer sli...

Tr-8 to MC-909
I am trying to record patterns from my TR-8 into my MC-909 to play using the internal MC-909 drum sounds. The notes show up on the MC-909 sequencer and with some transposing I can get the right note numbers mapped but for some odd reason the internal sounds on the MC-909 do not respond. I can TR rec...

Re: Bugs or am I doing something wrong?
Just to update (I am the same person as OP, had account issues that are sorted with site admin) I have blown away the old patterns and started again with new music (to ensure that it was not midi cc's or system interfering as I have recorded some sequences in from my M3 and Kronos which are quite CC...

Issues when re loading from off
<t>When I start up the MC-808 I am having issues with some saples not being loaded (large samples usually).

I had saved the patches the samples were in and also did a save all.

There is also another issue I am having where the tempos of patterns seem to change after loading (...

Re: Will there be a NEW groovebox soon!
<t>I would love to see this line of instruments continued and expanded too. Theres so much possibility.

Some features I would love to see would be

- for pattern operations to be in increments less than 1 bar
- even more memory
- the ability to map the sliders to c...
