Refurbished units are an incredible buy! I actually bought a V-Synth GT "demo unit" that Roland sent to my dealer. It was actually a brand new unit, not a refurb! The dealer didn't even open it and sold it to me in its factory-sealed box at a HUGE discount! I mean HUGE!

That's EXACTLY what I would like to learn how to change as well.

I had the exact same problem with a used FantomXR I bought from ebay. I did a factory reset on the XR, and it seemed to solve the problem.
