Thought the 8800 came with the vga option. I thought the 8000 you only had to buy it...which roland don't sell in europe now...:eyesroll:

Can the sp808 be used as a midi controller ?

I have had a go and don't have the midi spec...I seem to remember it is quite limited.

Be cool to use those pads for clip start/stop in abs.

Is the loop capture held in some sort of ram and then recorded to pad ?

Is that why it's only 15 sec ?
