Re: Reverb difference between supernatural and pcm

I addressed this to RolandCE, hopefully they can correct this in firmware. In the meantime, to make it work in a mix, the setting of the reverb itself should be set to max 127. Then the individual parts can be leveled accordingly, obviously, the SN voices will get higher send levels than other sound...

Re: Reverb difference between supernatural and pcm

Thanks.. So I now know it's not something which is wrong with my Integra7. However, I think it's strange, don't you?

Reverb difference between supernatural and pcm

Hi, While checking out patches, I noticed the reverb level of supernatural patches is lower than the reverb level of pcm patches. When setting rev level and rev amount at 127, pcm sounds real 'wet' but the sn sounds are abt half as wet. Did you guys notice that too or is it something with my Integra...

Re: Can Fantom G receive sysex bulk dump data?

@Quinnx Thanks, I will try that.
@JunoJohn The dumping device has no such option, but thanks for suggesting.

Thanks to all.

Re: Can Fantom G receive sysex bulk dump data?

All has been enabled. The fantom records regular (short) sysex messages, about 8 bytes long. But they are not dumps. I tried to record dumps from 2 other devices into the Fantom, but they all fail.

I'm out of options...

Re: Can Fantom G receive sysex bulk dump data?

Thanks. It's strange that I can't get it to work. The fantom records short sysex messages, but not the dumps of several Kbytes. At one track I've setup a sysex message for the organ to send it's dump At another track I press record. So the first track is played back to let the organ know it has to s...

Can Fantom G receive sysex bulk dump data?

Hi, Today I set up the Fantom to receive a memory dump from another instrument. I created a phrase on the Fantom to initiate the dump on the other instrument while recording. Whatever I try, no data seems to be recorded. I checked if the other instrument produced the dump by connecting it to a pc. T...

Re: Can a pad (rythm) be triggered by an external midi devic

I recorded and then pressed the pads which triggers the rhythm pattern. The only thing in microedit are the notes of the pattern. No exclusive message.

Re: Can a pad (rythm) be triggered by an external midi devic

Thanks. I'm out of options. I tried to record the messages once the pads were pressed, but the only thing recorded are the actual notes of the rhythm pattern itself. The trigger is not sent as a midi message. Another option was to trigger it by keys, but I need a remote keyboard to trigger them. And...

Re: Can a pad (rythm) be triggered by an external midi devic

Thanks,
But could you be more specific? I checked the midi implementation and could not find a clue how to trigger a rhythm phrase.

PauloF wrote:
Not the PADs specifically no ;-),
but you can trigger the Drum sounds from an external MIDI controller/Pad, provided you send the right SySex messages.

Can a pad (rythm) be triggered by an external midi device?

Hi,

I would like to be able to trigger the pads remotely. I assigned them to Rythm Pattern.
Can an external midi device trigger these pads like I pressed them on the Fantom G itself?

Thanks.

Re: PLEASE HELP- Key Replacement

If you have a replacement key, and want to replace it yourself:
The complete keyboard has to come out de Fantom first, before you can get to the key.
It can be done (I had to remove ALL keys in order to be able the replace the aftertouch strip), but be sure you know what you're doing.

Good luck
