Re: SRX Drums-mapping
It's the SRX 03 Studio..In particular the XPA rhythm kits...WideRock, Wide Jazz, TightRoom,3rd Ballad etc..these don't seem to have the same mapping as the Preset or GM kits...

SRX Sounds from Cakewalk/Sonar
Hi folks
Have just bought the SRX o3 expansion board. Can anyone tell me how to set up cakewalk so I can allocate the patches to the various midi tracks?

Perf init-reset..
I got no response from Roland (there's a shock) so continued to write my own reset which I have now put onto the end of allmidis..
It works perfectly and resets to factory settings prior to loading the new midi...it also means Idon't get the GM sounds unless I want them...Brilliant!!!

Sonic Cell Sysex reset NOT GM
Hi
Can anybody tell me if there is a bit of sysex code that I can put onto the end of every midi which will perform the same function as the "Perf Init" option?
I am not using just GM sounds so the GM reset is no good..
Regards
Dean

reset..
<t>Thinking about it though, that would only work on a GM/GS reset would it not? I tend to use the SC voices even though I'm using Midifiles...I have to remove the GM/GS messages at the start of each midi, otherwise I get all sorts of wierd & not so wonderful sounds (bagpipes instead of guitars ...
