not sure about the editor, never used it, but sure it must be somewhere... in Fan Xa it's in the sample edit or sample list screen. yes, you have to import samples in RAM

you have to import that samples first. put them into import folder, then somewhere in the sample edit screen there should be an option to do it. i don't have xr, but own xa. it should be pretty close. one more thing! be sure to save all samples before you turn the power off, or they'll disappear. se...

there's a workaround. you use one performance with 16 patches and switch parts to play different sounds

to load samples you need ram(dimm) memory, the same is used in pc's. look here for the chapter "expanding memory" or smth like this

maybe it's a good idea to buy inexpencive midi interface and stop loosing your mind? roland seems not good at supporting their gear offtopic... i traded JG for fan Xa and it's whole different story... stock sounds a a bit crappy and dated for me on Xa, but i rarely use them, and the whole interface ...

you can process signal from input with MFX. to do so, change input from DRY to MFX in input settings page.... hold shift and drag input slider to go to input settings page

usb on juno handles only midi, not audio...
