Overall, the V-Synth should boot with a card installed. My XT does with no problems. I would pull the CF card out and try booting with just the adapter and see what happens. IMO, the thought of loading D-50 sysx files into the XT, and then playing them of course, sounds better than what the actual outcome may be!

Koljaw, How is the clock input configured for the project? Is it set to Internal or MIDI clock? If the latter, then a patch will not play properly without the MIDI clock signal being received.
