Re: Integra 7 used with FA-08 anyone have that setup?
I think it is a far better choice to combine the Integra with a Yamaha MoXF. It is the same price, but instead of having a lot of identical sounds twice (FA / Integra), you get the best of Roland and Yamaha sounds combined. Moreover, the MoXF has got a "master mode", which allows to send o...

Re: next Axial download?
Lucky you if you can buy both, but it's much to expansive for most... Padking The more expansive, the more expensive ;) I'm still in love with the SRX boards, but two slots for EXP is not enough. You could buy a used SonicCell and two SRX boards, on Ebay Germany this would add up to about 450-500 e...

Re: FA-06 Autofill/backing
If you want an arranger module, there is no cheaper choice than the BK-7m in the market. Ketron has the Midjpro (and the older Midjay plus), they are both more expensive. I own the BK-7m myself (and also an Integra), there are definitely many good sounds and backing styles (over 400), I can recommen...

Re: Little brothers of integra7 coming at musikmess
Well, with respect to this thread topic - no new small sound modules that could be called a small Integra version. A handy SonicCell successor would have been terrific.

Re: Little brothers of integra7 coming at musikmess
So I'm curiously waiting for any releases about little Integra brothers on Wednesday... I have seen no other indications about them so far outside this forum (unless it's about this AIRA modular system, which is obviously something totally different than a small Integra version).

Re: Sounds from the EXP store into user patches/banks ?
No, it's not possible. The waveforms cannot be stored in a user location, they are only in the EXP loaded on the slot. If you remove the EXP again, the user tones will lack the underlying waveform(s).

[...] but the R&D these products are based upon is aging and nothing new or so good or so big is coming since the European (Italian mostly) R&D department was abolished during the last 2 years. You see brands announcing their rebirth, GEM namely announced it is coming back. Well, GEM R&...

Re: Integra 8 coming soon?
Maybe you read a little about the purpose of a 'management buyout' before claiming your view is more realistic than the view of other users. Roland took drastic steps to improve its finances in 2014. BTW, criticizing at the same time that Roland is not improving its finances AND the shift of manufac...

Re: Integra 8 coming soon?
That is simple maths, look at the bottom of this page , despite the increase in sales with the market opening to current Supernatural technology derived products (from flagship models to entry levels), Roland is still loosing big money. There are more chances Roland actually ceases making musical i...

If it's true, I'd better sell my SonicCell incl.2 SRX boards quickly... but I would have to be clear about what SRX/expansion facilities these new modules would have...

Re: Little brothers of integra7 coming at musikmess
What source is your information based on? I don't dare to hope there will be an updated small module in the shape of the SonicCell. That would be terrific, at least if it had more than two SRX slots.

Re: FA-06 real world reviews!!
I owned an XP80 until 2010 and now have an Integra and a MoXF. Knowing the FA sounds based on the Integra, I don't think you can say it is nearly like the XP50/80. The PCM sounds taken from the XV5080 are indeed close or identical to the XP, but the SN-A sounds have to be much more advanced. Thinkin...

Re: Integra 8 coming soon?
I agree that the Roland sales agents are probably not well informed about what is going on deep in the R&D departments, especially Roland Germany is usually never informed about internal activities in the headquarters in Japan. So there might be something in the pipeline in the second half of 20...
