AFAIK you have to do this the way Hermax wrote above.
It is almost impossible to have both midi clocks in sync and stay in sync over more than a few bars, which is why midi sync was developed first place.

Re: recommend Integra 7 sounds to load in FA via Easter Egg?
I am curious if patches (sounds, studiosets, tones, or whatever one would like to call them) from the FA can be loaded into the Integra. I only ever see it mentioned the other way around. Ohhh, not sure about that but it's been a (very long) while since I've checked Axial for new sounds for the Int...

This is of course mostly a matter of personal taste but I strongly suggest that you read this thread: viewtopic.php?f=54&t=52312 to help you figure out what is best. I suggest the MonkeyMethod™ :)

Re: buttons that don't work....what to do?
My first choice would be to buy from a reputable source of electronic components, so you're sure you have the real deal. Mouser.com have that part, there's no minimum order I believe, and shipping is reasonable. My second choice would be to buy from someone in the US (second item from e-bay). (alltr...

Re: buttons that don't work....what to do?
FYI, if you need anything else you may also check syntaur.com. They have many parts for many brands of instruments. The only problem is that they sell for about 5 to 10x the price you will pay from a regular electronic dealer like mouser.com. Which is still good to know for parts that you cannot ide...

Re: buttons that don't work....what to do?
According to the service manual the OEM part is SKRGAED010, made by ALPS but was not in stock when I raplaced mine. ALPS SKQNAED010 switches are equivalent to the OEM. I actually can't tell what is the difference, maybe just the packaging? Check mouser.com, they have both listed although only SKQNAE...

Re: buttons that don't work....what to do?
Contact cleaner will not work. That is because the buttons (switches) are 'protected' under a plastic cap. You will have to shoot tons of liquid before reaching the switch itself. The only solution is to open the v-synth and remove components until you reached the PCB where the button are soldered. ...

Re: Desperate, my Fantom X8 is ruining gigs with sustain not
So basically, before I turn my Fantom X8 on If I turn all the real-time dials to the left Yes. Then when I turn my Fantom X8 on as soon as it has finished loading I hit the little black button under where it says “assignable” and that will turn it all off so it won’t ever sustain? Yes (Actually you...

Re: Desperate, my Fantom X8 is ruining gigs with sustain not
Maybe because Ive never used those real time controls hardly ever in like 13 years My keyboard is in and out of our bus each weekend, might have got knocked with normal touring Maybe even temperature change, hot to cold, cold to hot? Well, this could be just because your Fantom X is getting old. Po...

Re: Desperate, my Fantom X8 is ruining gigs with sustain not
...Does the real-time control happen to do someat to the hold socket or sustain function? Or is there a setting somewhere? YES! You may just have found the source of your problem... This is a common problem that may happen after some years. The realtime pots gets 'noisy' and change value by themsel...

Re: Desperate, my Fantom X8 is ruining gigs with sustain not
Currently the DP10 is set to SWITCH, should it be set to CONTINUOUS?? I can’t remember what it should be on, or if it’s been knocked to SWITCH accidentally, I don’t have an expression pedal connected as don’t need one in this band, although I know the X8 does support half damperning? You first need...

Re: Fantom X Editor
The problem you have is because window XP is not supported anymore by Microsoft and also because Installshield was bought by Flexera... With this in mind, the 'obsolete' solution is here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/888019/you-may-receive-a-1607-unable-to-install-installshield-scripting...
