Just to let you know: Juno Stage works fine after upgrade from Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit to Windows 10 pro 64-bit. I had the Windows 7 driver installed before the upgrade. After the upgrade I just plugged in and it worked immediately.

That's correct. I think the manual refers to the fact that in performance-mode the 16 parts must share the same reverb, chorus and MFX. It's a shame you can't use all 3 multieffects in patch-mode, because the processing power is there. This leaves only the performance mode if you want to use (stack)...

Midi is not just an on/off signal, it's a serial digital code that has to be generated by electronics and needs to contain all kinds of information (channel, note, velocity and on/off , not to mention cc's).
