Re: Widows 10

Just to let you know: Juno Stage works fine after upgrade from Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit to Windows 10 pro 64-bit. I had the Windows 7 driver installed before the upgrade. After the upgrade I just plugged in and it worked immediately.

Re: Widows 10

Hi rdanl, One of my PC's has been updated to Windows 10 pro 64-bit. I will try to connect my Juno Stage using both the Windows 7 and the newer Windows 8 driver (http://www.roland.com/support/by_product/juno-stage/updates_drivers/6155) and let you know what happens. Don't know when, I think in a few ...

Re: Integra and two midi-keyboards ?

Roland A-33 also has the midi-merge function. Almost 20 years ago I used a Yamaha YS-200 and the A-33 to control only one JV-880 (now don't you laugh at that!) in the same way. I managed to get al the sounds I needed by creative patch programming and keyboard splitting. Every user patch and performa...

Re: MFX capacity in patch and performance mode

That's correct. I think the manual refers to the fact that in performance-mode the 16 parts must share the same reverb, chorus and MFX. It's a shame you can't use all 3 multieffects in patch-mode, because the processing power is there. This leaves only the performance mode if you want to use (stack)...

Re: sudden drop in volume

Hi Francoran, Have you played since this experience? Did it occur again? I had a similar problem a few years ago, when we used another mixing desk than we usualy did. Also sometimes a drop in volume, not constantly (both on my Juno Stage and on my XP-30). Couldn't find any cause for it. After this o...

Re: SRX-98 works on Juno Stage

SRX-07 is the board that contains the SR-JV80-boards you mention. I have it installed in the Juno Stage (I also have SR-JV80-08 installed in my XP-30) and it really adds some nice waveforms to the Juno Stage in my opinion. [From the Roland website]: The SRX-07 Ultimate Keys Wave Expansion Board offe...

Re: Ctrl kb from pedal

You're welcome. If it's just about keeping the tempo/beat, why not use a (user) rhythm pattern with just the hi-hat sound? Isn't that a good option in your case?

Re: Ctrl kb from pedal

Midi is not just an on/off signal, it's a serial digital code that has to be generated by electronics and needs to contain all kinds of information (channel, note, velocity and on/off , not to mention cc's). I don't know any single pedal that can do that by itself, but you might want to have a look ...

Re: Ctrl kb from pedal

Hi, MrNelsonB, I'm sorry, but I can't think of any way that you can trigger a sound using a pedal on the Juno Stage. Maybe somebody else can (without soldering a pedal to one of the keyboard-contacts)? You could create a split/multi-zone performance with just the very first or last key to be a high-...

Re: Juno Stage Piano Sound

Hey Joelfan, I have read this thread, but have not downloaded the patches yet. When I get the change to hook up my Juno Stage to my PC, I will give them a try! Promise! ;-) Keep up the good work.

Re: The Song Player

Hi Francoran, The JS does not have a real sequencer, so editing is not possible. The only thing you can do is c.cancel, which switches off track 4. It is just a song player which even does not use the parts in the selected performance, but 16 extra parts which you can not control. You have to use so...

Re: master volume pedal

Hi Folks! I have never needed to use a real volume pedal, because I make sure all patches and performances I use are at the desired level. The only way I use the EV-5 is to increase volume (increase level with a certain amount when the pedal is pressed down) for solo's, adjust filter cut-off in some...
