Okay, I am always worried it might break - but maybe it's designed to handle such pressure?

Re: RE: Vocoder Q's? (relocated question)

Hi, Has anyone utilized the Vocoder facility on the Jupiter X as yet, please? There are a good few You Tube demos (but no really go into too much depth). I believe there are a total of 2 Vocoder presets shipped with the JP-X. Do users feel these are adequate for their needs? I ask because there is a...

There is the Jupiter X section which might get you an answer quicker.

RE: Vocoder Q's? (relocated question)

HI folks,

I am extremely new to the Jupiter X (having only unboxed it last week!).

I wanted to ask some 'Vocoder' related questions, please. Would this be the correct forum to post my thread?

Many thanks,

Paul David Seaman (UK)

Duplobaustein,

I now believe it is ME that is broken and not the machine!

Re: RE: Mod Wheel (dead-spot?)

Did you simply try to INIT a SCENE, then recall the TONE you want in to see if it still happens? I say that because a SCENE is nothing for me except if I program I-Arp in it. Thanks, patriki. Well I just "INIT a SCENE" and the mod-wheel started to 'modulate' the timbres (which is what it ...

Duplobaustein wrote: 11:45, 26 February 2022 I really like it the way it is on the X, no problem. Better than if AT is so light, that you always trigger it unwanted.
Are you not concerned that you might accidentally snap a key?

Ok, thanks. Although I'm still not totally sure if it is an actual fault because sometimes the S1 slider can bring it back in again. Yes, it seems to be quite unpredictable!

RE: Mod Wheel (dead-spot?)

Hi folks, I updated my JP-X to v.2.0 this week. I am really not sure if this is part of the design of the JP-X, but on some sounds - if I move the mod-wheel up to full and back down again (whilst holding down a chord) - the volume of the preset disappears (ie. no sound!) when the mod-wheel reaches h...

Re: Only 256 user tone memories?

Dcer10, Gee, more frustrations! You know, Roland used to be so super-user-friendly! I just can't work out why everything is suddenly so convoluted? I find the Jupiter X so (heart-breakingly) uninspiring simply because of its endless unnecessary complications. I have not even attempted to manipulate ...

Re: Aftertouch doesn´t work!!

It's bizarre owning a state of the art synth which features AT, but which does not facilitate the performer the ability to trigger the FX because the degree of pressure that is required is totally off the scale!
