Re: Juno DS OS2!
The purpose of releasing this upgrade is to bring new sales. It is not important to publish in time for those who have purchased the product.

Re: Roland DS bin imports
Yes. but if you import another EXP, your can hear nothing from your saved patches.Dirtman54 wrote:After importing axial patches into the DS EXP, can you then save individual favorites into the user banks to call up any time...?

Re: Different patch sound in Pattern/sequencer mode
I have noticed that performances can change your patches, because the default performance 'template' has effects assigned... It would be nice to have a truly blank performance template. If you want to keep your saved setting for patches in performance mode, you need to set the output with ‘L+R’ to ...

Re: Juno DS88 Newbie Questions, key loudness, scratchy noise
It's normal. As I know tons of keyboard including korg, yamaha, and most of MIDI controllers' black keys have little more sensitive. In order to save cost, mid-level keyboard won't use different material and structure on white and black keys. Top-level keyboard like Roland's PHA 50, Studiologic's, F...

Re: Can I turn the part on/off in performance mode by midi
Do you know if one can use SysEx code (via the MidiStuff app) to change the Sync Mode (Master or Slave) in the System settings? If you have ipad or iphone, you can download an app called MF Monitor. This App can monitor all the data that transmitted from a midi device, whatever it is CC, sysex, OSC...

Re: Problems with EXT INPUT
Yannleo, can you be more specific? What is this and where has to be put? It's called impedance transformer/cable or something. Search this in Amazon.com: ZY HIFI Cable HIFI Nvwa copper-silver top P to S ER4 Impedance Cable ZY-031 10CM Maybe you can find something similar. This is what I did with th...

Re: Can I turn the part on/off in performance mode by midi
Yannleo, I'm excited by this! Can you walk us through how you implemented that sysex code and made it work with your hardware setup? Thanks. Ok, this is a little complicated. In case I want to have different layer combination through different part of a song. What I usually do is to switch from one...

Re: Problems with EXT INPUT
I just found something like this. Impedance bar/stick. 75ohm is enough. It will greatly reduce the noise. please note that you have to put the impedance stick on the other synth/keyboard side.

Re: JUNO DS/XPS-30 SOLUTIONS/WISHLIST
Roland wants you to buy all its keyboards. If Roland add all those function into DS, then you won’t buy FA, Jupiter, v-combo, bk9 etc.

Re: Can I turn the part on/off in performance mode by midi
I found a way to switch the part on/off independently in performance mode. You need a midi device that can send Sysex message to DS61.You can use either iphone or ipad. There many applications that can send Sysex messages, such as TB MIDI Stuff, MIDI Designer, MCP. You can make a series of buttons t...

Can I turn the part on/off in performance mode by midi
I wondering is there a way to turn part on/off in performance mode by external midi controller. I don't mean controlling the volume of one part, because even if you turn the volume to the minimum, or toggle the mute mode, these parts still occupy the polyphony. I want to turn off the sound part comp...

Re: DS61 <> BK5
As the matter of sound,Ds61 is much better.I have both. Trust me. BK5 is designed to produce accompaniment. If you want to solo something, you can hardly find a good rotary organ, overdrived guitar or analog lead, so does BK7m. DS61 is a synthesizer. First it has much deeper options to synthesize so...

Re: Problems with EXT INPUT
same problem. I tried many times. if you connect this ext input with a cellphone/iPod
it’s fine. But with other device like keyboard/arranger, it will create unacceptable noise. So we need to buy another mixer? It’s a shame. Any solution?
