FWIW, Roland Germany was able to supply me with 10 of these the other day.

Re: MV Killer (sorry)

A hardware sampler that is build by a greedy company that uses crappy components and shits on their users has no value for me. That´s why I stick with my MVs! I don´t need a new & shiny toy... YMMV EDIT: And if that new "MPC" still has no sophisticated swing functions like the MV does ...

Are you fvcking kidding us?

Nukai is a joke and so is the "MPC" X...

Do your research and you´ll find out why you shouldn´t be dealing with scum companies like Nukai!

Re: Bashing Roland and other manufacturers !!!!!!

Oh and here is their quote "Please note, parts requiring internal access to the product are not available to consumers and must be installed by an authorized service center." Can´t confirm, I was able to get parts from Roland Germany. Some of them needed soldering in...never had a problem...

Re: Inputs

Weird indeed.

Perhaps bad RAM or a dying harddrive is causing these issues..?

The fact that it´s working in a new project could mean your old project got corrupted somehow...that´s why I thought about a bad harddrive...

Does it also happen with the monitor and mouse disconnected?

Is your vga expansion original or one of these selfmade ones?

Re: Bouncing tracks

I don't use audio tracks but I think this is not possible...at least not without workarounds.

Maybe someone with more experience regarding audio tracks can chime in...

Re: MV-8800 complete disassembly with pics

The original sliders were made by Panasonic. What makes them special is the pin layout. Like I said, I wasn't able to source them for a price that's cheaper than the ones from Roland directly. I saw them on alibaba and some other sites...in some cases for ridiculous prices!
