if you use old midi. maybe it are more easy. SONAR LE, works also for korg m1, load new sounds , sequencer song, and Everything. that midi-interface Roland UM-1G is great

on internet every expert says KORG M1 is best Selling synth ever. how many been sold of M1 ?

I figure out. If you sett Beat to 32/4, you can record real time playing for about 4 minute. (if you sett measure leght to 8)

gues sc55 and xps30 have different sound technic. so mididata för sc88 will be diffent prosses in xpc30. maybe you just have to adjust parameter in xps30 to get in sound simular to sc88 Roland support have free edit for juno-di. wich works för juno ds, and ds vs XPs30 I gues have same sound technic....

what sound patch do you use who sounds bad ? then I can compare the samesound, whit my gear. how is your settings about effekt part ? try to connect your gear from juno ds headphone output. maybe the headphone pcb in juno ds, have better amplifier. so far I only use headphone (akg 240) and the juno ...

maybe there is a driver curcuit that produce caracters is broken or any coponents around that ic. condencer use to get dry and shortcut when old. or a connectorlist to display has bad connection
