Wow How long has Mvnation been down for, anybody know? I can't say I'm surprised.

It was once a good spot to discuss things but hasn't been for a long time.

They are there for grouping in general. You don't need to be leaving the unit to group things. It's good for mixing. Also you can write automation to the aux channels. They did promote it as an all in one unit.

Are you striking any pads when it freezes?

Do you have the latest OS update?

Have you connected it to a Windows PC without disabling Windows Media Player?

Have you tried creating a new project from start up? See if that works. You can do this by pressing F5 when you see "select proj" on the display.

Did you connect it to a PC without WMP disabled?

You can import midi files as a song or a pattern. Just press import and select the file.

I just posted some High quality Horn sections on mvofiles.com. They are kind of big so if you haven't upgraded your RAM you may want to avoid them. They are nice though.

Wav memory. You know RAM. You need to expand the ram to 512.

The project that is locked is probably a default project. You just need to turn the project protect off.

Yeah the kit creator sucks. The work flow is faster within the MV. At least it is for me.

The MV is a sampler so sounds are not hard to come by. By no means is it a "rip".
