Re: 4 EFFECTS IN ONE PROJECT ???
They are there for grouping in general. You don't need to be leaving the unit to group things. It's good for mixing. Also you can write automation to the aux channels. They did promote it as an all in one unit.otbt wrote:Like i understand it's good when you have the MV8-OP to group some parts/partials.

Re: Help with MV8000 Freeze Issue
Are you striking any pads when it freezes?
Do you have the latest OS update?
Have you connected it to a Windows PC without disabling Windows Media Player?

Re: PLEASE HELP!! - MV8800 Freeze at startup!!
I just bought a 512MB Simm to replace the 128MB i have in it right now. Hopefully i can switch out the memory and it will boot up fine. if not i guess i will have to erase and upgrade to the OS1.01 version. Upgrading the OS won't erase anything!!! Wait to do that though 1.0 is very stable. 1.1 is o...

Have you tried creating a new project from start up? See if that works. You can do this by pressing F5 when you see "select proj" on the display.
Did you connect it to a PC without WMP disabled?

New Patches!!!
I just posted some High quality Horn sections on mvofiles.com. They are kind of big so if you haven't upgraded your RAM you may want to avoid them. They are nice though.

Re: Deleting MV880 Projects ????
Wav memory. You know RAM. You need to expand the ram to 512.
The project that is locked is probably a default project. You just need to turn the project protect off.

Re: Default libraries
Here's a site that has some nice stuff already in MV format. Not the default libraries but I think you'll probably find some stuff to get you going. http://www.mvofiles.com/ I'm sure someone will post the default files for you. There might already be a link for them somewhere on here. You just have ...

Re: Patches Problem
Yeah the kit creator sucks. The work flow is faster within the MV. At least it is for me.
The MV is a sampler so sounds are not hard to come by. By no means is it a "rip".
If you want some free stuff check out this site.
