Re: The Jupiter-80 structure resembles an Atom .
There has been something about the Jupiter-80's structure that has been driving me crazy trying to figure out what it reminds me of . Not until my discovery of partials did it come to me . The fact that there was something smaller than Tones in the huge universe of the Jp-80 called Partials is what...

Re: Roland Clan Administrator.
I think I should clear this up :-) The website indeed now has a new owner, he will continue advertising here now. However, as far as we discussed, nothing will change here in a direction that would make Roland Clan any worse. And for what it's worth I am still with my administrator rights, although ...

This track is very cool indeed - but only if you're stuck in 1985.

Re: New Gaia... Weird Oscillators!

You can tell this from pitching a waveform down and you will hear it loose brightness since all harmonics are shifted unlike with realtime-gerenated VA waveforms. In fact the Juputer-80 sounds the same as SH-01 to my ears, I bet it's the sam...

Re: New Lion OS in July
All cool features. But nothing I would find particularly useful for my application. Maybe the additional gestures on the mouse pad would be nice. Other than that I don't see much reason to make the switch. Will be sticking with Snow Leopard... for now. Full screen apps and iOS-linke app organisatio...

Re: New Lion OS in July
Has anyone bought and compared the new iMacs with their forerunners. I don't want to read specs. I want to know whether the new models significantly outperform their older siblings. I posted this in the iMac refresh threads, but I don't think anyone noticed. So, what's the word? EJ, check out the M...
