Re: Roland cloud D50
Roland cloud has been hacked. All software available offline plus a Roland cloud emulator and does not need an internet connection to function. It actually sounds better than the Roland Cloud itself. (Not that I am promoting or condoning software piracy.) No pot of gold for Roland.......... The plug...

I tend to buy my kit on what it can do at the time....not what it may or may not do in the future.

Re: SE-02 and new "Boutique Designer Series"
I preordered my SE-02 today, according my dealer it will arrive in september One question, do you think that a PC/MAC editor will be available? I know that the panel is full of knobs for a very easy editing of sound, but I think that if I need to change parametres with very little values an externa...

Re: Effects questions
All 16 parts have their own FX section. It will load with pre-determined but changeable FX - than they are stored with the part in a studio set. A studio set consist of all 16 parts + fx + EQ and routing settings.

Re: System 8 as midi controller for Integra 7
Sadly the CC codes are different between the integration and system 8. E.g Filter cutoff on Integra-7 is CC74, but its CC3 on the System 8

Re: Roland D-50 Plugout on the Horizon?
Not all the Cloud synths sit in the legendary category........
SO far it includes only the existing plugouts and the soundcanvas (which clearly will not run on a System 8)
Roland cloud are being quite clever with their words.

Re: system 8 owners
Here is an interesting conversation I was having with the Roland Cloud bunch on facebook. I will just add the critical comments from Roland Cloud...... My Question..... Ok, lets change the question slightly. When will the Jupiter and juno plug outs be available to purchase from the Content store? Al...

Re: editor
An editor to help dive in the Supernatural side. There are 450+ waveforms. And all I have to navigate them is -/+ buttons and whooopeey a shift button to browse by the 10's.

Re: VST Plug-Outs
I am happy in the fact that Roland appear to be using the Cloud as a beta testers hotel. I hear that the Juno and Jupiter VST's need a bit of work and bug fixing before they are truly marketable. To be honest I am more interested when we get some more/new Plugouts for the System-8.......

Re: Which new PLUG-OUTS would you like to see for the System
Actually just seen inside a System 8 machine and under the hood there are three chips and it seems they've changed the name of them. On the system 1 the chip was called an ACB chip. However in the system 8, they've changed them to BCB and found that stands for behavioural circuit behaviour. So my g...

Re: I can't bring myself to like the JD-XA - I'm selling it.
I agree. For me there are too many obstacles to overcome with the JD-XA, for a synth that has a lot of surface control there is a lot of menu diving and no plans from Roland for an Editor to help with this. Even with the nice covers from Roland mine is now on Gumtree in the uk....... I have a System...

Re: Juno 106 plugout missing on my System 8 - V1.02
Maybe I should sell all my Rolands and kit myself out with Korg synths in protest at being led up the garden path over the S8,that seems the normal thing to do isn't it!
The only thing that lead you up the garden path was your ignorance.

Re: System 1 firmware 1.30?
But both the System 1 and System 1M pages show 1.30 at the header and the link to the current OS versions below. 1.20 for System 1 and 1.21 for the 1M. So something odd is happening here.If it were a mistake/typo then strange why both items have been updated to show 1.30? FYI 1.2.1 was release in Ju...
