Re: Roland is Inflating their Pricing!
I'm currently trying to sell off some gear to grab a demo model from a roland dealer for $1299 right now, still has full roland warranty by coming from a dealer (they say). Hate to pass it up but fear for the future value if the price drops like it did on my Jupiter 80! I paid $3500 for that, sold i...

Re: Benefits of owning ALL AIRA modules?
Thanks, I pulled the trigger and have the VT-3 and System-1 on the way. For the time being that will have to do. I'd LOVE to get the System-8 for sure. Sadly, I sold my Jupiter 80 last year and miss it constantly! Now that I own the MX-1, it would have been great. I, too, love the way they work and ...

Re: VT-3 AIRA link issues with MX-1
Yes, definitely send to roland support. I'm about to add the VT-3 and System-1 to my MX-1 along with the TR and TB that I currently have. I'd like to know that it's going to work together, otherwise I'll invest my money in something else for vocals like the Helicon or something.

Benefits of owning ALL AIRA modules?
I own the TR-8, TB-3 and MX-1. I'm loving them and how well they work together so well. I'm about to buy the VT-3 and System-1. Are there benefits to using all AIRA products or should I invest my money elsewhere? I am also using the GAIA and Teenage Engineering OP-1 along with my Studio Live 16.0.2,...

Re: Using the MX-1 with off-brand hardware?
Just got an MX-1 and very impressed so far but I, also, will be connecting off-brand and non-AIRA hardware to it. Curious as to how I'll set it all up and if it will work. My biggest issue is my Teenage Engineering OP-1 which is USB MIDI only. They used to sell an OPLAB to connect to CV and MIDI but...

Re: Holy Crap, I'm about to own another Gi!!
I ended up buying a GAIA SH-01 with the proceeds from the sale. It's also battery powered even though it won't handle basic piano sounds, I just decided I wasn't playing piano out much. When I do play out "unplugged", I tend to play guitar and ukulele. It is a great controller, just as the...

Re: Sustain problem with Juno Stage
I had that issue, I fixed it by doing one of the following (I actually did all three but don't know which one actually fixed it, just glad it did!): Turn off continuous switch on pedal (if equipped) Restore Juno to factory, then restored my backup Used a Roland brand pedal Works ever since. Good luck!

Re: D-Beam
Sorry I haven't had that issue with mine. It seems to work fine and nothing is lit up. I'd say you need to have a visit with a "roland doctor" to diagnose and repair. So sorry!

New AIRA TR-8, TB-3 & MX-1 owner here!
So far so good! Lot's to learn about each of these though. My TR-8 came with the 7x7/606 update already loaded, so loving that! The MX-1 is quite a bit of kit and I've a lot of decisions to make in connecting my non-AIRA hardware. Bit let down that my GAIA, which has USB Audio, isn't compatible with...

Re: Gaia and MX-1 Connectivity ...
Just got my MX-1 today. Works great with my TB-3 and TR-8. I, too, was hoping it would be compatible with my USB Audio capable GAIA SH-01... But no. Sorry, it doesn't work for audio OR for midi clock information. I've resorted to connecting via channels 1&2 then using MIDI (5 pin DIN) for clock ...

New GAIA owner, long-time Roland owner
Just had the opportunity to sell my "extra" Juno Gi and get a GAIA. WOW, what took me so long? This is a wonderful little synth, easy to program, easy to operate (although all the funky key commands and the blinky BPM instead of a screen take some memorization and getting used to) and best...

Re: Holy Crap, I'm about to own another Gi!!
AND... it's been sold again... ha ha I truly do love this keyboard (I bought it twice, so I must, right?) but after taking a good hard look at my current set up, it's just redundant since I only record at home on an iMac using Logic and the live set up I'm going for doesn't require batteries, the Ju...

Holy Crap, I'm about to own another Gi!!
I sold mine years ago, got a Stage, sold that, got a Di, sold that, got a Jupiter 50, sold that, got a Jupiter 80, sold that, bought another Juno Stage KEEPER! Getting the Gi on Sunday – Keeping it this time! Now what I have I missed since I've been gone? It's discontinued, no editor or librarian, r...

Re: Juno Stage As A Midi Controller
I use the Juno Di USB driver and El Capitan with no issues. Works great. No driver yet for Sierra though.
