I have never seen any specs saying Juno-G is an analog synth, perhaps someone translated it wrongly or you misinterpreted it. Juno-G is a digital synth just like the Fantoms, with 128 voices generated by a new Roland chip.

Juno-G is definitely not an analog synthesizer. It's a sample playback synthesizer. Otherwise known as a "Rompler". However it does sample in the form of 4 linear audio tracks. There is no analog functionality whatsoever. Neither is there virtual analog functionality. It is straight sample playback.

But there is a section where you can adjust the LFO's, amp, etc.

Of course there is, otherwise you would not be able to edit your sounds. Anyway everything is done in the digital domain, That is why you have a WG (Wave Generator) instead of a VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscilator) among other things ;-)
