Yeah, 'cause many of the best Roland sounds are on $RX anyway ...

Anyway, I'll post another report about the G's soundset when I've had more time to audition the patches.

I think you're going to end up changing your mind, Artemio ... especially if itsells well ...

Because of the way they are set up differently, the Juno-G really has nothing in common functionally with the Fantoms ... so any tricks, tips advice will be completely different for the two machines ...

Diametro, I am sorry friend, but how can I be wrong when the G uses the same sound generator as found in the Fantom-X and if you read the manual you see a Fantom-Xa interface almost up to the last bit (except for some new G-only stuff of course)?

Because a huge part of how this board works is people post questions and other users offer answers ...

How can a Fantom user possibly hope to help someone with G other than by looking in the manual for them?

And what will all these Juno-G ramblings bring to the Fantom party? Just a lot of clutter and nooby-type questions.

Sure, it shares the interface with the Xa -- but for whatever reason -- that board never made much of an impact at Fantomized.

I think a lot of people realize after getting an Xa, they should have just gone with the X.

The same should apply to the Juno-G.

Diametro, now I completely do not understand you... Fantom-XR is way much more different from the X/Xa series interface-wise. Yet we had no problem discussing XR along with it's model-mates.

Artemio, NOBODY talks about the XR on this board. There's little to talk about anyway, as I think most people just use it as a sound module.

Like I said, it's your board ... but mark my prediction that we're going to see more and more Juno-G threads that will do nothing to ease the perception that Fantomized is just a place for questions like "How do I get the effects to work right in performance mode?"

...And for that last question you mentioned the Fantomized FAQ entry will work for Juno-G users, so will this forum. Enough on this topic ;-)

Yeah, but inevitably it ends up on Fantomized first ...

Time will tell, Art ...

No, pirell, why, Diametro is not rude. He is uninspiringly wrong about a right forum organization, but that's not rude ;-)
