Just for curiosity - What makes you think that the Juno is "radio ready" and that the Fantom is not?
At least tell us what "radio ready" means for you
o - ...just could not afford the 8

RADIO READY MEANS THE SOUNDS ARE EQ AS THEY WOULD BE ON A RECORD PLAYED BY A RADIO STATION,
IE. AN COMMERCIAL RELEASE CD.
SO BASICALLY I IAM WONDERING WHAT EQ SETTINGS YOU USED TO ACHIEVE YOUR TRACK IF ANY,
MY TRACKS ALWAYS SOUND TOO BOOMY AND SLIGHTY HARSH
PS.
IVE GOT A FANTOM S
WE CAN DO A SWAP IF YOU LIKE!

I know what "radio ready" means - well at least I know what it's suppose to be
I was questioning you 'cause I find strange that you think that the Juno is "radio ready" and the Fantom is not. You say "...GIVE FANTOMS RADIO REDY SOUNDS LIKE JUNO?" so I suppose you think that is true, wich is not.
Anyway EQing, has many other aspects of music production, is a subject wich you can spend days talking. For a start I would advise you to get the best monitors your money can buy (you will also find many other threads about monitoring at the Clan) and then you could get some tips at Ron's Doc here

Sorry but
did I miss your point or did you miss mine? :-/
I'm not advising you to get the X8. You can be fine with the Juno - it all depends on what you need and can afford. More if you consider that the X-6, 7, 8 are exactly the same except for the keyboard and that the Juno shares the same sound engine. So, basically you can get the similar "radio ready" sound from any of them.Thats all I was trying to say. I also advised you to first get the best monitor you could because you said " MY TRACKS ALWAYS SOUND TOO BOOMY AND SLIGHTY HARSH" and sometimes thats not the case. Sometimes it's a bad monitoring system that makes you believe you have a bad sound when you don't (the opposite also beeing true) . So you should rule that out before considering any EQ.
As you see, I think I'm, telling you a lot
