Juno G folder not visible
Hey,
When I connect my Juno G via USB in Internal Mode I can actually only see the ROLAND and TMP folder of the Juno G...(I don't see any subfolders in them) I installed the usb driver from the CD so, I don't know what actually causes this problem... I tried other usb ports already, but I get the same problem. It is possible that there exists already a topic about this but the search function on this forum didn't work.
Thanks in advance.

I did a factory reset, and then it actually worked for one time! But after I dropped a midi file in the right folder, did what I was supposed to do( I think?) it didn't work anymore...
But I read something in the manual about how you have to store the files.
I think you need to rename files like "My song.mid" to "MYSONG.MID".
I'm about to try that later, have no time for the moment and I need to redesign my sounds cause we have repetition tonight, very sucky!!!

well, I did a factory reset and now it works but I first dropped some wave files in the right directory.. then disconnected and connected again, it still worked, then i dropped some midi files in the right folder, and i disconnected, they seemed to work on the juno G, but after i reconnected, the subfolders weren't there anymore, so I'm screwed again....
Re: Juno G folder not visible
Make sure you have the latest system installed, 1.05. If not, give Roland tech support a call.

Re: Juno G folder not visible
My intial problems a year ago were from the fact that on my computer was a different version (CD that came with Fantom) than what was on the Fantom.
All I had to do was match the versions up and maybe a factory reset and it was as good as Gold.
Hope that helps.

Thanks, I should try that. As I can see on the CD-ROM stands ver. 1.00 so an update might help. Only one question, where can I find an update, I tried searching google already but didn't find any results actually for an update.
