Hello,
I bought a Roland Juno G.
I have it without software and so I do not know if Roland sells it with a software to aid
the synth programming. I ask with kind of software is provided if you buy the Juno G in a Store ?
is it really needed to program the synth ?
thanks
Rick
new to Roland G is software needed ?
Re: new to Roland G is software needed ?
Juno-G comes with some software to connect to your computer and transfer files. It also can help with managing sounds, but I haven't ever really used it.
Re: new to Roland G is software needed ?
Yes, the Editor and Librarian, respectively.
You can download them here:

Enjoy.
ps. It's really almost easier to program everything on the Juno itself, read the manual and learn the Pro Edit screens by heart and you're good to go. Of course, this depends how you like to work - editing on the computer can be fun too, for me it's just not faster.
