Hello,
is there a way to find a decent piano sound aside from buying a srx 02 card on Juno G ?
I am not happy with juno G default piano sounds.
the same is for pipe organs sound.
I think Juno Di has richer sounds. is it possible to export Juno Di sounds in sysex format
and import them on Juno G ?
thank you
Rick

Re: Juno G and decent piano sounds
Library link at the top of the page then the Juno-G link. download the Roland XV collection. More piano and organ sounds in there.
Cheers.

Thank you!
I'll see if I can put the whole sound collection on the card... had huge issues getting the librarian to work as OSX Lion is not supported....but that's another topic ;-)

Re: Juno G and decent piano sounds
so did you find another piano sound that you like better than the default sounds?
Re: Juno G and decent piano sounds

You can load the Fantom-X piano, see this video for more info:

You have to download the samples and install them. I never did it (I don't use the Juno-G for piano sounds), but the instructions and the URL where you can download the samples should be in the video.
Just loading another sound collection will not improve much, because the sounds would be based on the same samples.

Re: Juno G and decent piano sounds
I got somewhat good results using the piano samples embedded into a SRX-03 Studio SRX card.
I'm still experimenting, but at least those samples are a different point of view if compared to the Juno's original ones.
