iirc you will not be able to do this directly...

You can use the SL61 to start/stop a DAW, and slave the JG to that.

Yes you can do this.

Its much easier to use system realtime messages. You can program the Novation keyboard to send system realtime start/stop .

Heres a little more info..

I have the fantom G, MC-808 and Novation Nova, all of whom need clk PLUS realtime start/stop to operate... the Juno G should have similar settings to the Fantom G.

sync mode = slave-midi
clk source = midi

On the Novation ( I have SL remote compact)

global:

clk source auto
clk output M1

template:

all outputs to M1
press edit + play, change message to realtime low value = rt play , button type normal
press edit + stop, msg = realtime stop, button type normal.

I don't currently have FF/RW setup as this requires SPP and haven't been hacked to sort it out..

hope this helps

Thanks for the support, but when i press PLAY on sl mk2, the song on juno G don't start...

If I connect Sonar on PC with juno G, I don't have problem, when I play start on Sonar, the seq on juno start also to.
I think the problem is on setting on sl mk2.

JUNO-G only communicates via MIDI if you set the USB mode to STORAGE. Have you done that?

The JUNO-G can only communicate via MIDI cable if you set the USB mode to STORAGE. Press the USB button and change the mode to STORAGE. Otherwise the MIDI ports on the JUNO do not work.
