JUNO-G v2.0 driver for Windows 8.1 and Acer Iconia Tab 8W

Roland JUNO-G v2.0 driver for Windows 8.1 32bit on a Acer Iconia Tab 8 W1-810

Follow the below step-by-step procedures:

1. download the Windows 8 driver directly from Roland web site:

2. download my modded driver from here:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/501 ... /Files.zip
3. run a Command Prompt as an Administrator: press the [Windows key] + [X] then select the "Command Prompt (Admin)" option from the Power User menu
4. copy, paste and press [Enter] the following two commands in order, one at a time:
bcdedit -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON
5. completely power off the system
6. access to the UEFI BIOS setup: press and hold down the [Volume Up] key and [Power] key keeping the tablet in landscape orientation
7. select "Security" from the left menu and set a password to unlock all hidden options
8. select [Disable] in "Change TPM" option
9. select [Erase All Secure Boot Setting] in "Secure Boot Mode"
10. select "Exit" and then [Save All Changes & Exit]
11. install Roland original driver for Windows 8 following all procedures: power on your Juno G and connect it to the tablet via usb
12. press the [Windows key] + [X] then select the "Device Manager"
13. if appears a device "Juno G (!)" the Roland original driver doesn't work,
select it and right click the mouse to choose "Update Driver Software..." from the menu
14. select "Browse my computer for driver software"
15. choose the folder where you have previously uncompressed and downloaded my modded driver and wait for complete installation
16. install and run Roland JUNO-G v2.0 editor/librarian to verify if your driver is fully working
17. from the editor menu select the "Setup" option to choose the JUNO-G midi in and the JUNO-G midi out driver
18. close and re-open the editor: now it's working correctly!
18. run a Command Prompt as an Administrator, like in step 6.
19. copy, paste and press [Enter] the following two commands in order, one at a time:
bcdedit -set loadoptions ENABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING OFF
20. completely power off the system
21. select "Security" from the left menu
22. select [Enable] in "Change TPM" option
23. set a blank password to lock and hidden all options
24. select "Exit" and then [Save All Changes & Exit]
25. reboot
