System Reboot Fix Sustain Problem?
Posted: 01:23, 16 February 2017
I have an issue where a tested and functional m-audio sustain pedal will not work in the 'Hold' jack on my Juno-G as a sustain, the pedal was replaced and the brand new replacement also failed to function as a sustain pedal. The synth has been opened up by a mechanic and there are no obvious hardware issues.
The technician suggested a system reboot, but I don't particularly want to lose my custom patches to do a factory reset that may not even fix my problem!
My question is two-fold:
1. Does this sound like a software issue that, after extensive troubleshooting, could be resolved by a factory reset?
2. If a reset will do the trick, will my customized patches be wiped, and is there a quick way to back them up to my computer or a memory card?
Thank you!
