New Idea for forum
New Idea for forum
Art,
Is there a way you could have a special page that tracks upcoming Messe/NAMM or any other MI conferences where Roland may be attending or releasing new gear. And then use it to keep track of what was released and when. Just an idea- I have no idea when the next big announcement could be and just stumble across the different events randomly when I am surfing.

Re: New Idea for forum
There are roughly four events: Winter NAMM (January), Musikmesse (March), London International Music Show (June) and Summer NAMM (July). Are they that hard to remember? Also, who would be putting info into those events? I have plans for a news section here, but apart from it I hardly doubt I'll be able to manage this.

Art,
Could the forum (or one of the mods) subscribe to a newsfeed or something, and have a window in the forum that just showed that feed? I'm not sure how all that stuff works, so it's just a thought.

Andy, do you mean the news we're sending via the newsletter? If so, yes, there will be a news roll at the home page and you will be able to subscribe to the news via an RSS feed, just like with the forums. This way you'll get all news faster than with the newsletter.
As for "have a window in the forum that just showed that feed", it's up to your browser how to handle the feed. In Safari, feeds are shown in one of the tabs, and they also update in the bookmarks so you can easily see that there is something new there.

Hey Grammar!
Correct me if I'm wrong but . . . it looks to me like you've recently had a 'Brazilian' hot wax done . . . not that it's any of my business, mind-you!
