Back online!

Post by Artemiy »

Just saying that I'm back online. With so many new phones being installed around, those phone company maintenance guys often mess up connections ;-) We could have this thing fixed on Friday, but we missed the guy who came to check our wiring. Oh well, it's working now and I'm happy ;-)

... I was wondering if anyone knew that too. This is the first time in my life I watched Eurovision. Frankly, no one impressed me with the music, but some vocals were interesting.

I was shocked when I found our that Ruslana won - this is a great victory for Ukraine. It proves that we have some hidden talents here ;-)

Hiya Phait

The Eurovision song contest takes place annually: a band/singer in each european country (for some reason Israel enters too) submits a song which then, over the course of a three hour live programme, gets performed live. After all the songs have been performed the public phone to vote on their favourite song (they can't vote for their own country).

Swedish pop legends ABBA started out as Eurovision winners with their song 'Waterloo' before they became famous.

Last year the contest was held in Latvia & won by Turkey (I think)

Hope you're now suitably enlightened. Now tell all your friends & Family!
