MARK your Posts or Specific Thread(s) for future quick recal

Post by PauloF »

Hi Artemiy,
This is a feature that I mentioned before (long time ago), that would ease the process of finding specific Posts or Threads.

The idea would be to allow for the USER to Mark specific Ports / Threads, that he/she could recall later when needed.

This should involve database manipulation (I think :-) ), but it would be a very very helpful feature to include in the Forums next OS, pardon... Release ;-)

What do you think?
Would that be possible in a foreseen future?

take care
Paulo

Paulo, within the next couple weeks we will move to phpBB. Maybe it has this feature already, perhaps in some extension packages. We shall see!

I think this is a good move for the forum. I like the custom version going here, but it seems more difficult to maintain and develop new features.

Hopefully the move will not be too shocking and the database ports nicely.

Much luck!

Yes, it's easier to customize our own code but I no longer have the time to really push it to a proper level of functionality, and phpBB also should be easier on the server.
