Regarding the spam issue I just want to thank all those who work hard to keep this site up and running. You should enjoy what you do here and it is a shame that you have to spend time on useless annoyances but be assured your time and contributions are recognized and appreciated by me and hopefully the 16,429 other members

Wow! Thank-you so much, Sliverdigger! We appreciate your support and patience!
I know the Mods really what this site to be successful and are trying to come up with some effective solutions to this site's spam challenges! We will try to do a better job of keeping our members informed as to what is going on. Currently we are being spammed even when we are not accepting new registrations. As that is the case, either the spambots are already in our membership data base or we are being hacked. It looks as if a software update is neccesary.
