MX1 master settings when performing an Ableton set

Hi there

I am arranging 10 songs (dub, house, ambient...) into a session to be performed using my MX1 and Ableton. I have the different audio stem channels sent to the MX1 so I can add effects to the different parts.

Because I'm sending the individual Ableton audio channels to the hardware MX1, is it impossible to therefore have any mastering effects on Ableton's master bus?

The MX1 does actually have built in mastering presets. Do I now need to use these as I am no longer using the master bus in Ableton? Has this master bus now become redundant with my set up or is there some routing I need to do?
