MC-909 Slave mode midi clock forwarding?

Hey everyone, first post!

Here is my setup in relation to midi clock the chain:

ableton live -> mc-909 -> Korg ms2000 -> Korg KP3

Now when the mc-909 is in master mode, the midi clock data makes it all the way down to the KP3, everything good at this point. But when I introduce ableton live as the midi clock master, only the mc-909 syncs to it. I have enabled the Midi tx "soft through" feature on the 909 in hopes that it would forward all midi data, but still have issues. Anyone know of a secret setting i am missing? Thanks for your help!

roland got back to me. MC-909 is not a device that can forward the midi clock while in slave mode. i'll have to buy some midi through gear.
