looks as if i will be getting a Roland SP-404
battery powered a plus

but i have

question...

recording to a multi-track recorder
should i record each pattern separately
or as a whole?

It'll probably be easiest to record all patterns in one take, and you could always go back to the 404 and re-record if it's necessary
