No resampling of sequences?

Post by Hugo »

I was reading some reviews over at Harmony Central, and it appears that it's not possible to resample sequnced patterns in the 606. Is this true? And, in case it is, is this the situation with the 404 as well?

It won't be a deal breaker for me, but I find it a bit strange if this isn't possible, as I think this functionality is pretty essential in a machine like this. Maybe it could be adressed in an OS update?

Hey Hugo

No its not possible in the 606 or 404 to re-sample a complete pattern. Although in the SP-606 you can use the P-606 software to sequence patterns then have the SP-606 re-sample the pattern as an audio phrase from the P-606 software thru the USB audio stream.

Ok, thanks for the info, Mike.
It would be cool to have this feature, though, so if Roland are planning an OS update, be sure to mention it to them! ;)
